How do you want to feel when you are 75? What are you doing now to make that happen? The quality of your questions determines the quality of your life. Ask yourself those tough questions.

If I continue eating the way I do now, how will I feel in 10 years? What will my body look like? Will I still be independent? Will I be able to dance? How will my life change if I drink less alcohol or eliminate it entirely? Will I look and feel better? Is making a change to my habits worth it to me.

These are questions that you need to answer for yourself. Not everyone will come up with the same answer. You may decide that a course of moderation is what you need. Simply making smarter choices about portion sizes and the mix of vegetables vs meat on your dinner plate can make a tremendous difference in your health over a period of time.

Remember, it is not what you do once in a while that changes your life, it is what you do everyday that matters. Using common sense to make small changes will yield huge compounded benefits over time.

Moving a little more, eating slightly less, choosing more nutritious foods, avoiding empty calories and added sugar, getting outside more, spending time with friends. These simple and easy steps can greatly improve your life.
